I wish a really happy new year to everybody involved in Rise of Nations.

Let's hope and see whether our beloved game can make it another year and what the upcoming weeks an months are going to bring to us!

It might come as an unpleasant surprise to you to see that the mastersleague site has basically been ripped apart and reduced (once again) to basically just a forum page with a shout block. This has happened for a reason though:

As you might know Mastersleague has been running on an outdated CMS (=Content Management System) since 2004. This CMS has hardly seen any support and updates since 2006. The administration has become very hard and there was no modernization to be expected. In the past months Mastersleague site had basically been taken over by spam bots.

So what I had to do in order to keep the site alive (well the future will tell) is to switch to a new and modern framework which will not see the end of lifecycle in the forseeable future. This is what I have done.
